Stained Glass Cookies

We made stained glass cookies last night. Davi brought home a cookbook from the school library and I thought these would be perfect for Christmas.
Make a batch of sugar cookies and roll out. cut a large star and a small star. Put the large star with the hollow middle on one tray and the small star from the center on another tray- the smaller stars cook a bit faster.
The large star cookies for the stained glass must be cooked on parchment paper. Place on parchement paper and add a candy in the middle.
Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. wait a bit before trying to move the cookies, let the melted candy center cool and harden first.
Very fun cookies for Christmas, and yummy too.
