Frodo Boy May 3, 1989- Jan 14, 2007

As you can tell by this post we lost Frodo. He had a good long kitty life. His days consisted of sitting in the sun, eating tuna and catching rodents.

Although Hallie enjoyed dragging him around by the neck or by one leg- he loved Hallie and loved sleeping with her. He knew he could look at Davi and give her a little meow and Davi would tend to all of his needs. He plotted on which of Shane's personal belongings to pee on. He had a love / hate relationship with the dog. there was love between Bobo and Frodo, but Frodo made sure he was the boss. He would get up on the counter and toss food down for bobo and his last few days wanted to snuggle up with the dog in his bed. Frodo was my loyal companion and will be missed by our entire family, even my mom and dad loved this little kitty.

He was one of the most skilled hunters I had ever seen, yet never paid any attention to our other pets lower on the food chain....Except one time. Our parakeet Princess (who is a boy) was flying around and Frodo sprung up about 5 feet in the air- swinging his arms wildly and landed with no bird. Shocked us!!! He had never even looked interested in the birds, mice, hamsters...

Both of my girls at about age 3 finally noticed at someones house that had a normal cat - that our cat was unique. Hallie pointed at a friends cat and said "mommy- whats wrong with his feet?" we had preschool teachers and other teachers ask us why our kids insist that cats have 6 feet. I told people our cat had extra feet and they often would say "you werent kidding about your cat!" but that is not why we loved Frodo, he was just a cool cat and a good friend.

He liked to sit in the rain and would meow a long distressed howl when he would go upstairs as if he was lost. He liked to eat butter, peanut butter, sweet potatoes and bell peppers.

He knew when you were sick and would lay on you till you were well.

Sorry to hear about this. It seemed to be a really nice cat. Hope your girls are cool now. Good excuse to speak to them a couple of words about life, death and the joy of the good times spent in life with beloved.

A hug from Peru.
